because there is a better way already...
(use filtering sites... redirect.invidious.io)
...for 0 adverts / less bad code!
It's a loss of our efforts not to...
Easy fix / can be optional replacement by Mastodon itself...
Hope Mastodon makes option to turn all youtube.com/ links to
redirect.invidious.io/
(switch on and off to make optional sure!)
We have choices like @invidious ...
LET US USE IT!!!
At least a few people higher up could endorse this and get it actioned... BOOST!! 🚀 
I'd like to continuing to educate about filtering the bad code amd ask heads of code makers and software to implement replacement of server words - simple.... redirect.invidious.io ...
To filter aggressive tracking / dangerous ways for freedom...
