What do you answer back when a person replies "Who are you?" after replying to their posts initially sharing your view with them. My replies are on some interesting questions based on their topic and then instead of any sharing or Hi... I am occasionally getting this reply instead?

"Who are you?"

I mean what do that mean?!

I could assume they've just seen the avatar and think it's a faker or sarcastic attempt at online social,

Should I ask for clarity knowing I'd prefer not to give my NAME. DOB online etc (so I wouldn't be able to really answer as I'm more low key so let them down or have to further explain why)?

Or something else (Please tell me some practical social strategy as I feel it's a lose:lose game of explaining what isn't as simple online but still share the same about what they wrote / the topic !)

Can I even share with those that want my name and position (if those types of things are their question finally?)
