It's a mind thing... Even existing Fediverse people need know how to "make friends better" or leave doors open...
@DuhLaurien Not much left for us to do but dance together with whoever who can! 
Not wait 'for them' either because we also are not ready for them (my experience I could talk about, but many not sure how to make friends or no need perhaps in their eyes)

Imagine also what I've found... (in short) When you scratch the surface of even developers here THEY are also a bit of a time waster in many ways. Great for X but still way off for Fediverse / Freedom Development.
So while it's a slight win for lesser skilled people to be here, many people's data is everywhere and using bad practices so they just spread the same here and they don't change from real life because they came to Fediverse...
So coming from meeting or messaging maybe 100's, it's almost like "oh wow they are so imperfect and human too and wy far off" - even those seeming supporting open source etc...
Basic friendship and starting real development is quite hit and miss... so I'm still looking for a way people can see what I mean more than say "making friends" are what they need to do better...
