How do I escape < and > in Misskey?!?! It's called Misskey because it's missing key features.

@niconiconi My older system can't even see Misskey sites so Mastodon wins there by default for showing up / keeping it simple!
And who knows how many avoid Misskey because of those dependencies (ok maybe not many but every user counts

@freeschool@qoto.org Not really. K.I.S.S. users would have selected Akkoma anyway, the resource requirement is lower than Mastodon by an order of magnitude. Mastodon is the Windows NT of the Fediverse, average in every aspect, the only true advantage it that it can run random
