Hi Oldkid and those interested in this Bot acc "Socialmedia Relay" @socialmediarelay

I think this message relay could have added to description and improved text about what it is and does / doesn't. Mainly to to allow people less chance to scare themselves... and understand, and say more clearly what it is not.

I had to work out what it meant originally so while it's natural or new, and not a bad start but more would be good so here's my suggestions and reasoning below. (let me know and I'll have another look after you edit)

Add something like these points:

- "This account is a bot account which automatically forwards to those people subscribed to to this account any hashtagged posts related to SocialMedia (- hashtags such as... "Meta/FB etc"

[hashtag list you have already written]

....BUT don't write "captured" - it's misleading to what it means / what the account is doing)

"If you *Follow/Subscribe* to this account..."

["subscribe" on it's own sounds is a bit different and in Frendica is "subscribe" I think but elsewhere "Follow" mostly]

"...then for specific similar hashtags (like what you may have been writing in your own social media post) your post and others will also be Boosted."

"This account automatically sends only to those already interested / already following the bot account to get similar hashtagged posts.

This bot account is within The Fediverse / ActivityPub protocol and not outside of it.

[Some is similar to what you wrote so not a complete re-write but this helps people understand it's not a Meta / Bluesky kind of bridge 🌉 - It's not an attempt to copy posts elsewhere as a 'relay' but forward them to those interested) <=== lol could put that in there instead of some of the other text...

If you do not want your posts to be passed on to those following this bot then please send us a message to @oldkid to stop any hashtags from your posts being shared via this Bot Account...
