I feel cheated putting many posts into Mastodon but moving now can't move my posts out or convert elsewhere by design... !
( Mastodon export exist...
NO MASTODON IMPORT EXISTS ! Very ungappy 
! I think I mislead myself to some degree but it's like half a function to export a ****BACKUP**** you would surely want to ****IMPORT**** !! )
If I'm wrong I'll eat my post gladly...

For me on mstdn.social, Preferences -> import and export -> import has a interface for importing
(have not tried it)
