@Anneheathen I think the sentence is misleading, Then writing this it makes sense... but I was going to answer until I saw others would read it and answer differently.

I read it as "It's bad year for *for slugs*" and because there has not been so many (yet) and the increase hasn't been so bad (yet) I was going with that...

I won't answer this in the poll... but I guess you could be missing some missing some words like "having lots of slugs in your garden" and *bad year *with* all the slugs in your garden"
