Sometimes people install nextcloud when all they just need is SFTP.

SSH File Transfer Protocol is SFTP so not far off right.
I've been saying SFTP also instead of FTPS but people anyway people seem to be always like no the FTP style stuff it's insecure etc... but I've always liked the 70+ year old protocol and client interface + immediacy in file management. It's native so no other software to add, WYSIWYG, basic, super fast...
Lots of experts still use it even for mass downloads...
❓ I think directories can be passworded too or more tweaks if needed if really being too open is bad (I'd also just switch access off after making a time frame fr people or rotate passwords personally as a remedy for abuse and prevention).

@ghjardim The last part was a funny coincidence when I searched for FTP it also came up with FUCKTHEPOPULATION in the results so I also mentioned it at the end and put the link to it.
The cursor on that webpage uses the middle finger cursor if you visit the link you will see it's like the emoji of the middle finger.
