It's not my opinion but a proven fact that what the Fediverse lacks, compared to other social networks, is one on one support. I can come now for headlines, art, fun and the like, but people seem so out of place when asked for tips on technology, the unknown name of a long ago watched movie or the name of a plant found in the garden. Also the annoying constant linking to the nazi platform. We have lots of room for improvement.
Building ourselves online / doing the people work and personal interaction of listening and speaking online +create more potentil relativity - I WANT DO THIS MORE OFTEN ! And you?
@johnmastodon I am on the journey of people encouraging other to do the people work more often which is more emotionally responsible (for ourselves and others) and accepts the human nervous system to clear things sooner.
It's also cut out using #Tech and #Capitalism which is also why people react differently by text than on a voice call for example which is much more sincere and can be done more personally once people agree or understand a safe place (which we could make and people make testimony to allow others to trust more and more).
The non-existent humanness elsewhere especially in #Tech is largely ignored or seen to save time even though directly or indirectly Tech projects and people fail each other based on how they feel (input=output) or project get forked by the lack of homework along the way - just someone decided the same way Elon might. So making for regularly 'therapy' on-the-fly or specific sessions, general speaking mens that during and after things people can simply have the answer to let others listen and also speak. And mutuality or teams grow too as a kind of bonus or solidarity which also can be testimony and key to a trust history.
call it meets, therapy, tuning, alignment...
call it a catchup time
or review
or help desk
or personal help from community

Just something more than near-0 currently by modern #Capitalism AND the everyday people who do complain they are not being heard but then don't seek to find or create place to hear us all.
In a similar way you ask for asked support in your post or lack of one to one - we are actually the answer that need to stick to the idea for it to exist / be created.
(might not be exactly what you said but is a form of the same which could easily branch out to everyone who wants to jump in or actually set the tone for something serious - it's very flexible and depends on who shows up under which topic talk.
To get something constructive going is what I think this is and offer myself as moderators to BUILD TRUST and give peace a chance somewhat from scratch... building daily / weekly (I have time to seed this until the end / a life project)
We need our own Justice and that comes from people listening and balancing each other.
Alone mostly doesn't work and falls short when it comes back to people...
The "work" is people themselves- their job, the state, outside establishments are not going to do this and want the opposite (division / not sharing life)...
Hope we can talk more and please say what hits home or not for you... and help build ourselves essentially as the premise and solution to many things human related since we are very human!
