I just... I cannot get over how much built-up goodwill and trust the Author's Guild apparently wants to torch with this protection racket in service to some Silicon Valley theftbros. It's absolutely stunning.
Selling out, also because it's all worthless ($1000 in the bank is now actually $900 when you pay $100 for it)
@lilithsaintcrow It's almost the destiny of all things to 'advance' or survive or exist in a forever devaluing system (Banks and money)
In a cheating system people will clutch at straws or plain sell out...
...instead of trying to the whole buying and selling... parents even hiding from children
So someone at some point in companies willingly going for it... unless people understand you can win using money and better to try mostly without using it as the answer and head towards more individual respect and individuality at the same time (not a total switch but slowly bending the tree back).
Banks and government have been doing cheapening money every day by asking people to pay for it (buying money makes each loan actually worth less than it says in total)...
$1000 is now actually $900 when you pay $100 for it - so even if you do something good, millions taking loans and payings fees = giving your friend less than the face value...
(sorry about the small rant but I wonder if most knew this (or even you?) just as a small test of public knowledge)
