I like the new logo but the house was a little extra - I guess the house is because of some mysteriousness but that was after a while of not knowing and guessing... mainly before the footstep are not that big or clear to suggest murder-mystery style "guess-who visited the house"

So overall good of very good - top is obvious and clear - bottom I didn't get I guess

and then the scroll might do well with an outline (though also might not)... and I just notices the footsteps on the scrolled up part at the bottom... which is cool

I would make the footsteps much bigger as more obvious hint to mystery related to that house... and that's the main thing done.
