OMG. So many times when people argue with me about order of operations, they say (not in these exact words, but this exact meaning) that ignoring The Distributive Law is a much SIMPLER way to solve Maths. Well, yeah, sure, but the answer is WRONG, which defeats the whole purpose in the first place! 😂
