I honestly think a lot of that is true AND people want that. More than ever I'm sure more and more people want things like this - where it doesn't make sense but they like it / want it (and this has been the problem too - not just companies making crap but people actively buying it!)

Human condition is not as logical or clear... or it is but in a very illogical / un-clever way...
