People joining fedi in the hope of something better but then rejects everything that makes Fedi different from Twitter

@fulkrum@qoto.org What is excruciating for me is that they don't seem to even remotely understand why Twitter sucks and why the thing called Fediverse has the potential to do something different. It is not just because this guy called Elon Musk controls Twitter, but apparently this is their main reason of migrating to Fedi. What they want is essentially a pre-Elon Twitter, which the Fedi has never been and will never become.
