Hoping to see #England kick #Iran's arse in a couple of hours.

Three reasons:

- Women's rights! The world should be SHOUTING about what's happening to women in Iran right now, it's absolutely grotesque. Solidarity with the women of Iran, and down with the Islamic Republic who the team are playing on behalf of.

- Iran is also deepening its commitment to supplying arms to Russia for their illegal war in Ukraine.

- And you know, I always want England to win.

So, moving server killed the links to my statement on the #WorldCup.

In short, I am frankly disgusted that a regressive nation like Qatar got it, I refuse to give a penny to the usual tournament spends (FIFA World Cup edition, team shirt) and will instead donate equivalent amounts to orgs seeking to improve the situation in Qatar and the gulf region in general.

But I will be watching the football and supporting stupid bloody #England because it's been a passion of mine since I was 10, 29 years of my life.
