Efforts to improve curriculum are usually focused on identifying new information that needs to be delivered; efforts to improve instruction focus primarily on improving the efficiency of information delivery. This is misguided in many cases.
@garyackerman the 20th century was strong in improving mass delivery of content, and effectively "solved" that problem. It remains to be seen whether the 21st century will be a century of improving learning around/beyond content (pedagogy/andragogy and such)
