the feature I find most useful in the birdsite is the #translate feature, it allows to expand the information sources. It would be nice to see a #bot in mastodon that offers #translation of toots from the detected language to the default #language of the account or to a designated target language

@barryhope this is a great news, I have just read that the 4.0 release of mastodon will have edit and translate functionalities, so they are widely available features for all mastodon users and not just for one particular instance
@geantonicelli Absolutely! I have French, German and other European followers, so it's a must.
I also welcome the ability to follow hashtags. That's going to make life easier.
