I think my only hope for Threads federating is the possibility of people stuck on big tech platforms being given the opportunity to discover the Fedi. Most people don't know it exists or don't understand it. Maybe, just maybe, it's a chance for them to get away from these manipulative algorithms. 🤞 I'm just worried about how it might affect the Fediverse negatively as a whole. So much of what big tech does is what so many of us have been fighting to get away from. Now it's here.
