Today was I’m driving an extended cab D-Max. I’m labelling this because everyone has crew cabs, I never see extended cabs! Very basic, but it does have Apple Car Play.

@gpowerf Reminds me of my Datsun King Cab, if it had taken growth hormone. Mine was really cute in red and ultra-handy for me when I was a cabinetmaker, but a very rough rider when empty.

@12thRITS it seems like all trucks took growth hormone over the past few decades 😄 this Isuzu is absolutely gargantuan compared to little old Chevy S10s from the late 80s and early 90s.

@12thRITS You know what I've always wanted? A cab over a mid-size truck that's the same length as a mid-size truck but has a HUGE long bed. Sometimes I go on week-long camping trips and fill my truck (with a camping canopy) to the brim. Why can't I have an 8-foot bed and a cab over? :)

@gpowerf I used to have a Thames Freighter, an English Ford pickup that looks something like the vehicle in your pic but not nearly so manly. The closest image I can find is of a Matchbox equivalent. Mine had a three-speed-on-the-column transmission and the engine sat between the front seats, which was good because you sometimes had to work the throttle on the carburetor by hand.

@gpowerf It was fun to drive. Had a toggle switch on the dash in lieu of a horn button; pushing it up made one tone, down another.

@12thRITS the Ineos Grenadier has something similar, a full volume horn and a lower volume one :) really neat idea.
