Far too few tech companies grasp the concept of families.

Eg some mail providers like Fastmail and Proton have a price that's OK for one person but becomes prohibitive if I want to bring the rest of my household along, which I'd need to for it to be worthwhile. So I don't make the purchase.

Meanwhile Microsoft, Apple, & Spotify all get that they need to offer a bundle pride for 5 accounts to catch that business.

That's another reason I'm still with Onedrive for my cloud backup - I can afford to have that for my and my wife. Literally any other viable cloud storage option gets silly expensive if I need to buy individual accounts..

But even Microsoft, Apple, and Google and many others completely still miss the news for family-centric data tooling.

I can't easily have a shared contacts sync with my wife, for example. That is absurd.
