@Basmitharts I have zero understanding of American custom truck culture. I mean, I like pickups enough to drive one in Europe and I'm running a slightly larger tyre than stock too, but mostly for extra sidewall height for practicality and it isn't all heaven either because with the larger tyre comes worse fuel economy.
Why does a truck like this exist? What practical reason is there to running oversized wheels with low-profile sidewalls as well as a lift kit? I simply don't get it. It's a lose-lose-lose situation. Every single modification seems to be there to make the truck worse in some way.
@makesubarugayagain @Basmitharts I don't know :) I assumed it was a dualy from the factory.
@gpowerf @Basmitharts the foot lift was throwing off perspectives but judging from the one in front of it I think it actually is a dually HD. I thought the HD diesels had side badging but I guess not.
@makesubarugayagain @Basmitharts we don't have GM trucks here, I only ever see them as imports and they are not very common here at all. Most people who import a truck seem to import a RAM or Ford.
@Basmitharts oh, I get it! I really do. Lifting a truck is hugely expensive, and the more radical you go the more expensive it gets. Once you start dropping the front diff or even worse replacing the whole front setup with a live axle you are looking at supercar money.
Modding cars is expensive!
And I'm familiar with US truck prices, I read a lot of reviews.
