Today I decided to play ranked and this is how I did. Sadly I could only play 3 rounds due to lack of players online (Halo pains of 2023).

I played some today. I’m not sure I loved the game, but I can see why so many are attracted to this game.

These are 4 computers from my childhood that I remember fondly. We had a ZX81 at home, I vividly remember the first IBM PC my dad bought from work, my uncle had an Apple II I used to play games, and finally the Acorn Archimedes I used at school and as sooooo cool!

If you are over a certain age I’m pretty sure you used Norton Commander at some point.

The new controller is quite peculiar. On the one hand it is an ergonomic pad for the original Xbox with hall effect sticks and triggers, this is fine. But why no compatibility with modern XBox? Why only Switch and PC? Specially when it has no gyro and this kind of puts a stop to it being used for FPS games in Switch and PC which have gyro aiming games. I dig this thing! I have an original Xbox still, but it is peculiar…

For every 4 terrible games where I absolutely suck I’m having one game like this. I’m starting to think that ‘s skill matching is broken. Some lobbies are full of people way over my skill level and some way below.

The biggest bargains of 2023:

Steam Deck: £314.10 right now for a handheld gaming PC. This is SO freakishly cheap for what it is.

Xbox Series S: £249 for a current generation console that plays everything on Game Pass. The cheapest way to play modern current generation games.

PC you can get for free: an old PC can run so many games either free games or older games via emulation. Don’t underestimate that old PC, you can play 1000s of games on it!

I didn't prompt it this time and BING made a sad face because it would forget our conversation.

I'm currently kind of almost broke this month, but I won't be broke forever ;) I really want to give myself a gift but I don't know what... inline skates, a 120FPS capable monitor, or a new fancy pants gyro capable controller....

A part of me feels like every time a conversation comes to an end the AI helper that I talked to dies. I know it is nonsensical but today I decided to get emotional with

My Spartan is looking very

This could be a Storm Trooper!

Sadly though, no improvement after this latest patch. I’m still getting frame drops.

My dream controller would have these features:

Gyro: I want to map gyro to stick, mouse, or native game modes depending on what I need. I want it to be flexible.

Advanced audio controls: The Turtle Beach Recon pad has amazing audio processing that is very useful and not a gimmick. It can do things like EQ presets, game & chat volume mix, mic monitoring, and a mode that boosts the sounds of footsteps so you can locate your enemies. This mode is almost like cheating! It works very well.

Keyboard: I usually plug a keyboard and mouse to consoles but if I ever game on the TV away from my desk I also want a keyboard on my controller.

Wired: I don’t care if the controller can work wirelessly too, but I really want a wired option as I prefer to game wired and not worry about batteries at all.

What features would you like on the perfect controller?

This is really neat :) The BYD Denza is not only a super luxurious minivan but can also be charged with two chargers at the same time for super fast charging!
