Abandoned hotel in #Boracay #Philippines

I’m told this fell foul of new regulations that meant the hotel had to be further from the beach and due to lack of funds because of the pandemic it was simply abandoned. There were no funds to rebuild.

I got a National Emergency Alert in the early hours of the morning for an earthquake. I was in the road and didn’t feel a thing…

Lunch.

I work on construction software and today on vacation I had an impromptu tour of a small scale brick making operation. It was actually pretty interesting! With one mixer they are able to produce close to 900 bricks a day. The mixer is made using a truck axle and transfer case, it’s quite ingenious.

Went swimming and we found an arcade machine token, also the letter R, U, and E fell off my Quicksilver shorts. Got creative…

The more I drive the #Toyota #Fortuner the more I like it. It’s one of those vehicles that’s not exciting in any way but that’s just nice to drive and is a comfortable box to be in. It’s just nice. An old fashioned, body on frame SUV that does stuff well.

I found one ticket arcade machine that I really like! It’s 6 players and called Deep Sea Story. I don’t know what company makes it but Googling around kit seems to be Chinese and a whole lotta fun!!! #arcade #gaming
