You know Natty Onai from ? Early in the game she points out that wizards and witches in Uganda don’t use wands, and that there’s a magic school in Uganda as well. Anyway, I want the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy to be set in Uadadou School so we can learn about a whole different set of magic traditions and witness a very different landscape.

So now that Microsoft and Nintendo have signed this deal can we look forward to Mario on PC too? ;)

is one of the best purchases I ever made! Back in the days I enjoyed being able to game on any screen at home easily and I set up ethernet for all key screens for the purpose. Steam Deck is a good alternative as I can take the hardware into any room.

I'm still using GFN and Xbox, but a fair bit less now that I have the Deck. If I ever need more performance GFN or Xbox are the way...

This is what I had been looking for in and I finally got to see it :) The inner workings of Hogwart's clock.

I got to level 25 and learned Alohomora level II in

I also found one of the rooms in the castle from the books and movies I had been looking for :) Happy bunny! Good night of on

Do you use Steam Input to customize controls and enable gyro input for your PC games that don't support it natively? If so, you might be interested to know that similar functionality can be achieved on gaming consoles (Xbox specifically), even if they lack native gyro support.

Two pieces of hardware that do this are the Armor X Pro which maps the gyro to stick, and the XIM NExus which maps the gyro to mouse.

These are not cheap, however, the benefits are huge!

PS: I'm well aware that the brand XIM specifically is sadly associated with cheating and some of the more advanced macro functions of controllers like these can be used to cheat. However, my main interest in them is to use the gyro aspect. Simply do what Steam Input can do, just remapping.

I play with gyro aiming because it is 2023. Why doesn’t every damn game natively support gyro? Why do XBox controllers not have gyro? 🤷‍♂️

The Xbox Series is the console I’ve owned which I probably have the least attachment to as a device or ecosystem. There’s nothing wrong with it, it works pretty darn well for the most part. But really I just see it as the easiest way to access Game Pass given that the cloud side is still sub-optimal.

This isn’t a criticism, but perhaps a sign that at least me as a consumer I’m ready to see the end of the console era.

Im super impressed with everything I’ve seen on so far.

The Curse of Rabenstein is one of the best games I've ever played, it is an incredibly immersive text adventure that's really worth playing. Anyway, it is now available in Spanish. 8bitgames.itch.io/rabenstein/d

Hogwarts spoiler… minor

Are you a Slitherin? Have you found the Kraken yet?

Yay! I won the armour coating for the current weekly challenge on

And yeah, this is a standup desk on wheels I can move around the house. I ended up loving playing games standing up.

really is a beautiful game, even on the lowly at a lowly 40 FPS this game can give you shivers at times. It is like finally visiting the Wizarding World in person!... I felt the same when I got to play all those years ago on , I really felt like I was in the Universe.

If you have an #2600 and you don’t have an Uno cart you should really consider one. It is a flash cart that works supremely well!

The two sides of me in

The crazy cat wizard petting every cat, and the I'm ready for battle don't mess with me wizard look.
