“Why don't more people use desktop Linux?”
My perhaps controversial opinion is that the answer matters little, desktop Linux is fine with the current user base and community. Desktop Linux doesn’t need to be the number 1 desktop OS in terms of user numbers for it to be the best OS for its users. Desktop Linux is fine and should continue to cater to Linux users rather than chase a larger user base.

@wiredfire I couldn’t agree with you more! It’s an easy problem to solve that’s not being tackled.
But even Microsoft, Apple, and Google and many others completely still miss the news for family-centric data tooling.
I can't easily have a shared contacts sync with my wife, for example. That is absurd.
I found one ticket arcade machine that I really like! It’s 6 players and called Deep Sea Story. I don’t know what company makes it but Googling around kit seems to be Chinese and a whole lotta fun!!! #arcade #gaming
Edit: it seems to be made by a company called: Zhongshan Ridong Animation Technology Co. Ltd
@dancinyogi I did. Real old things in school, honestly I think they were from the 30s or 40s.
I’m still enjoying #Celeste
What a great game! I can’t imagine ever finishing it close to no deaths, but it is amazing. #gaming #gamingonlinux #SteamDeck
It feels great to see organizations leave #Twitter for services running on #ActivityPub protocol (like #Mastodon). Time to take back control of your own data.
I can see why Toyota Fortuners sell so well around the world. This is a silky smooth daily driver! For the price this is incredible! I wish we got this level of value in Europe.
This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.
