@darnell that's doubly insulting :( The bots think you are racist and illiterate!

Hmmm…it seems #Tumblr keeps labeling one of my blogs as “Mature Content” because I talked about the country #Niger 🇳🇪 (I believe their bots assume I misspelled a racial slur multiple times).

@davidwilkins and this is before factoring Chinese cars into the equation. The level of luxury you can get for £23k is incredible. The GAC Emkoo seriously impressed me.

@davidwilkins car prices in Europe and North America are becoming a serious issue for families generally. I'm always surprised at how much car you can get in South East Asia for your money compared to what you can get in Europe or North America.

Something like a Toyota Vios is the equivalent to under £10k, you can get a 7 seater Japanese car for £11k or so too, an a Japanese SUV roughly the size of a Discovery for under £20k. We don't have those options here.

Today, we’re sticking with Volkswagen and the same electric MEB platform as used by yesterday’s ID. Buzz. This is something completely different, the thoroughly modern ID.5, a sort of SUV coupé sister to the slightly staider ID.4. The ID.5 has had some slightly lukewarm reviews but I rather like it. @davidwilkins they are kind of pointless, but I generally do like the look of coupe SUVs (too much at times!), however, whereas I love the look of the ID. Buzz you posted before this doesn't quite do it for me. It's kind of muted and forgettable in my eyes.

Having said that, as a daily driver I'd consider it against a Model Y or Ioniq 5. A daily doesn't have to look like a dream, it has to perform adequately :)

Weirdly this sort of Ford mentality is exactly why I'd lean away from an Everest over something like a Fortuner or MU-X. Isuzu and Toyota keep it simple and Ford overcomplicates :) And it isn't just suspension, but AWS systems, engines, etc...

I recently noticed that humble little Ford Everests have a Watt's link for the rear axle.

The car geek in me was hugely impressed. I know Ford has used it before, but I didn't expect it on the Everest. I always associate it with old-fashioned race cars like Australian V8 Supercars.

I tried what this article stated and it is true, it points me to potentially dangerous resources and it generates images. But it also gave me a very long health warning. theregister.com/2023/08/15/ai_

@jq search for powerbank handheld and you'll get a few mathes of different variations on the same theme.

@JJFlash I pay the stupid TV tax here too, even if I don't watch TV. :) It's easier.

@split how DARE you make friends? How very dare you?!?!?!

i still think this is the funniest block reason my school has ever set

Thanks to all the comments from people not understanding 2FA I have a new video to plan lol

This is one of the weirdest new gaming devices I've seen in lately. It is a power bank and handheld console in one...
