110 years ago, a soldier named Harry Colebourn brought his pet bear with him to where he was stationed in England.
Harry named the little cub “Winnipeg” after his hometown.
Harry received news that he would be shipped to France, so he made arrangements to keep "Winnie" in the London Zoo.
Winnie captured the hearts of A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin. Christopher added “Pooh” to Winnie’s name after his pet swan named Pooh.
Winnie the Pooh was published in 1926.

Hinweis zur von Karlsruhe verordneten Reform der undemokratischen BTW-#Sperrklausel: Der Europarat empfiehlt gefestigten Demokratien keine höhere Hürde als 3%. Wichtig wären auch #Ersatzstimme und Zulassung von #Listenverbindungen.

Unabhängig davon wird eine Reform des Verfahrens zur Wahl unserer Verfassungsrichter im Bundesverfassungsgericht immer dringender. Statt Besetzung nach #Parteienproporz und #Postenschieberei muss es ein offenes und transparentes Verfahren zur #Bestenauslese geben!
