@hakologist I was thinking the other day that: Just by mentioning things we indirectly promote them.
So while I wouldn't want a world ignoring things, I did think the 'good' people are also promoting it and inadvertently spreading the progress of others and advertising fear almost.
A fine line but that old adage that 'any news is good news'
(advertising / announcing someone or a conspiracy can pump these things up more than the logic or other ways).
