Power fails at only -44C. This is good physics - copper shrinks in the cold. However, I think they have been deluded by the past warm cycle. They should read Jack London.

My fridge-freezer decided it would stop functioning during our recent cold-spell here in the UK. Nothing like the US has at present, but -10c was pretty cold for us here in the south of the UK.

As soon as the #weather turned milder, the thermostat decided it would spring back into life and my melted ice-cream, etc, froze again.

Almost ordered a new machine. So glad I didn't as money is extremely tight at present as I have no income.
