**An exciting debate** This is something, that I, as an old white male, have nothing to say about. However, I am always forecasting the future, and I think that all 'female exclusions' are doomed. They will be flooded with testosterone males, who identify as female. That's just a fact, I have no opinion.

@hasmis so me as kind of young white male I have some opinion about it. It should not be allowed to compete in sport between transgender people and non trans people. It's not fair competition and it's not only about hormones levels.

@hasmis it's a sport that already has to be handicapped into weight classes.

There are many available solutions for setting up sports with unequal competitors, so that the outcome on any given day is in doubt, and the best competitor on that day wins their division.

But the discussion is tainted by hate and traditionalism that will distract from the obvious solutions.

@johnefrancis Yes, classification by grip strength. I would be at the bottom, but that could be faked by my daughter who can open jars by just glaring at them....

@hasmis golf and sailing handicap systems are a good example...adaptive handicap based on weighted previous performance.

In sailing...mostly for different boats.

Allows wildly unequal competitors to compete. Exceed your own average performance by more than other competitors and you win.
