Hi all! I'm super excited to learn as much as possible about EVERYTHING. This is my second account for badgering people with questions and asking for book recommendations and such, so I'm warning you 😋

Right now specifically I'm diving into theory of computation and am looking for a specific book that started with binary, hex, bar codes, telegraph machines, etc but I can't find it yet. Still looking. Cheers!

@henasfa Hi, welcome here!
I'm pleased to have you, seems like we have many things in common. Plate tectonics? Check! Nutrient economy in systems? Check! Compost? Double check!

Unfortunately, although aging is not something I like, I still do it every day... 'till I find a way to stop that doesn't require me dying, of course.

I'll read you around!

I was reading about resistance training... I do some bodyweight stuff, but train mostly for strength, not much endurance which seems more beneficial for aging. Do you have experience/more infos on the matter yourself?

@henasfa

@arteteco @henasfa Best book I've read on exercise is Body by Science by McGuff & Little. There's 2 aspects to endurance, 1) skill specific, how efficient you are at a skill, 2) metabolically, how well you can convert lactate back to glucose (see Cori Cycle). Properly conducted resistance training (bodyweight included) can help with 2). https://youtu.be/fQra-ME7vIo?t=4364

The interview is quite interesting, I've been thinking of learning more about HIT for a while, guess that's a good chance =)
