whoa, I just learned that I can use LaTeX in posts. thank you @ambihelical for the link with all the extra features of qoto.
To test that, here is something I encountered once in a calculus class

\]
@herid Unfortunately that one has bugs. I asked about it already, one of the admins informed me it is broken.
