FFS #MATLAB is a fucking stupid piece of shit software. This is what I get for using proprietary garbage. I honestly don't understand how anyone uses this shit without blowing their brains out. They are straight up net-negative for humanity. Somebody get RID OF IT NOW.

Or quick algorithm prototyping in fortran?
Of course, parallel stuff and so on suck, but at least it kind of does what it should

There's no comparison between the ease of use of numpy and that of Matlab.
I heard of Julia, I remember someone told me it's a modern Fortran... I never actually tried it, but it appears interesting.
If that works, and if there are some useful libraries, it could be a good replacement of all that old stuff.
