The thought of giving my next conference talk makes me so nervous that I'm about to shit my pants and at the same time I'm looking very much forward to it. How's your Tuesday?

@simonbs it’s a feeling I don’t know if I love or hate. Been giving talks for a long time and I still feel like I’m going to have a heart attack the hour before the talk. Then I start speaking and all that stress vanishes while I black out for the duration of the talk and wake up again when I finish and I get ready for the questions. And people still compliment me!

@iPabloSB That has been my experience for the one conference talk I’ve given so far too. I’ve given plenty of talks at meetups and internally at my company but they’re all a bit different. I never have the black out there 😄

@simonbs yeah, I have to present within my working group every three months or so, but they’re all colleagues and there I have no problem. But put an audience in front of me and my brain goes black. And I still love that adrenaline rush. It’s kind of a harmless drug.
