@SwiftOnSecurity I currently have an account on qoto.org, which seems to have been blocked by a number of instances and de-listed from joinmastodon.org for, as far as I can tell, unfounded or misplaced ideas that it allows hate speech. I have never seen anything I would even call intolerance on the local feed nor any evidence of the supposed transgressions. So I think your advice is badly needed.
@SwiftOnSecurity Also, though I haven't followed it closely, I know that an effort called #UFoI has started to try to develop a more transparent, accountable process for making federation decisions among instances.
