@g what? They used to let you see who enabled 2fa, but not this?
Is it because passkeys don’t enforce better security?
@GuillaumeRossolini You can see who has security keys as 2FA but you cant see who enabled passkeys. I think it's just cause it's beta and their whole transition has been quite messy…
@g I was actually curious to know if someone can disable password login when they enable passkey login? Or is that an admin control, or Not A Thing at all
@GuillaumeRossolini Oh so yeah it works on TOP, I haven’t seen how to BLOCK the password (but you can require 2FA with security and allow passkey, so the password still exists but isn’t a weakness)
@g that makes sense thanks
But this is just how Google does it, right? Not standard
@GuillaumeRossolini I haven't really seen a lot of true passwordless, so many websites just have me add the passkey on top of another method...
@g oh my, I hadn’t thought of that, that’s really messy
Plus, nobody seems to be interested in adding the “old” ways like TOTP or physical keys, it’s either passkeys or nothing
@g @GuillaumeRossolini Oh good, it's not just me being obtuse.
