toki! I'm a high school film student in Dallas and I had the pleasure of going to the DFW tp meetup a couple months ago. It was during this time that my film teacher had given us a documentary assignment and I thought it would be great to do one over Toki Pona and to interview speakers at this meetup, so I did! It screened well in our class and even advanced in a local film competition and I was finally able to get a link to distribute it (although low quality for the time being). This is only a teaser though, we had to condense a lot (a lot) of information to meet the maximum time limit and it's more so geared towards people who've never heard of Toki Pona (so much of the stuff you probably already know). I do plan on editing and releasing a much longer version that would delve further into all the interviews but this is what we have for now :). Thank you everyone who helped us with this and I hope you enjoy it!

привет, друзья-токипонисты!
сегодня я решил представить вашему вниманию мою систему письма для токипоны. это слоговое письмо, абугида, если точнее. здесь есть основные символы для согласных и диакритики для гласных звуков. А является основным слогообразующими и поэтому не обозначается. для слогов без первого согласного я использую дополнительный символ. завершающий слог N обозначается "крышкой" слева от символа. для заимствований используются "скобки", подразумевающие заглавную букву.

Today I decided to bring to your attention my writing system for Tokipona. this is a syllable, abugida, to be more precise. there are basic symbols for consonants and diacritics for vowels. And it is the main syllabic and therefore not indicated. for syllables without a first consonant, I use an extra character. the final syllable N is indicated by a “cover” to the left of the symbol. for borrowing, “brackets” are used, which imply a capital letter.
