That is ridiculous. Organic waste releases whatever was used to grow it in the first place. It's inherently renewable. A really bad argument for this guy's coffee-flavoured concrete idea.

@jasonetheridge not quite. If the "original carbon" ends up being CO2 then it's got a particular warming potential. If it rots and becomes CH4 then the potential is 80x in the 1st 20 years. That's why burning landfill gas is a net positive for warming.
