The SAG-AFTRA agreement that ended the actors strike does not protect against the use of AI actors whose likeness is generated. While leading roles are probably safe, why pay humans as extras when an infinite number can be generated at need?

Haven't come that close to missing it in a while! And from such a promising start. Guesses came easily, but the remaining letter didn't.

This is inevitable, now that realistic voice can be generated. Recording dialogue has been an expensive bottleneck for game devs, but now voicing character dialogue is cheap and unlimited. This particular AI tide can't be resisted.
