While I wanted to limit the scope of this thread to ensure an undistracted absolute focus on the political aspects of the massacres that so many people are missing today, a follow-up thread is worthwhile to explore other aspects that also connect to today, and this quote you mentioned here is a good example of one particular aspect, that of how police so often acted in defense/support of - which is to say, as agents of - #WhiteSupremacists and #WhiteSupremacy.
