Has anyone else considered what it means that Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and other "farming sims" are some of the most popular games in recent years?

I can't help but think that it's such an enjoyable escape because it enables Millennials and Zoomers to savor the fantasy of actually being able to own property some day and that hard work and ingenuity could actually improve the material conditions of your life and your community. @JoscelynTransient Guess you've never heard of SimCity. I used to play this in high school in BLACK-AND-WHITE.
