If you want to do a digital detox, consider getting an e-ink device like the Boox Palma. It's phone-sized and can run almost any Android app, but its black and white screen really takes the appeal out of scrolling social media or other such disruptive things, since normally colorful images and videos are stripped down.

@jezlyn Does it take a SIM? Is it a phone replacement?

@jellycrystals Unfortunately it doesn’t take a SIM, Wi-Fi only. So you’d need some mobile hotspot to get online when you’re out, but if you use it at home, you could load it up with a lot of your phone apps.

It’s a phone-sized e-reader, but since it runs Android, you could you use it like your phone.
