@fesshole It's not that difficult to understand. Women are rightfully very tired of having to be the ones making sure there are no unwanted pregnancies when in a steady relationship. A man choosing vasectomy is a man that says "you know, most contraceptives have quite negative side effects. let me take this one, while there are some for a vasectomy as well they're way less common".
Preventative myth busting: No, vasectomies cannot be reversed. I see this myth posted over and over on various forums. In the case someone ever had one reversed they're an outlier. When getting one (guess how I know) they're making VERY clear you understand that it's an irreversible procedure.
