- Our next gen headstages have two channels of opto and active torque free commutator (https://open-ephys.org/next-gen-acquisition-system; https://open-ephys.github.io/onix-docs/)- For the legacy system, there are a lot of people who successfully use cheap slip ring for the SPI cable with through bore. They then seat a fiber commutator in the bore.
