If you are planning on fleeing to Europe as a long term plan I am afraid it isn’t going to get better there over the next 20 years.
The US won’t be there to push back Russia and the Europeans themselves are progressively losing their privileges. And they just aren’t such nice people when they get broke, as history has shown.
Canada or Latin America are probably safer bets (unless we get yet-another-US-sponsored-coup).
Fleeing to Europe is probably pointless.
The far-right is raising around there. Italy, Finland, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and the Czech Republic, for example, have far-right parties in government. They are not the only ones.
In other countries, the far-right is ascendant, and their influence in government, especially on immigration issues, is greater every year. Some places where it is pretty obvious are France and Germany.
And the new US government is going to make it even worse.
