Quick terminology and preference question:
On @frontenddogma, I tag anything related to browsers (and other user agents) with “user-agents.”
I’m not sure it’s as clear and am wondering about moving to “browsers” instead (and cleaning up in other cases).
Do you think…
#browsers #useragents
@j9t @frontenddogma
Why not both?
"user-agent" is the right one, but "browser" is useful too because we tend to think only about browsers.
@jgg, indeed, that’s an option as well. I’ll take it with me… my first reaction is that the tag may generally be a bit broad, and perhaps too broad. I feel it’s tapping into the art of science of taxonomies 😅
@j9t
They are only tags. Don't overthink it.
It is better to put too many than too few. And mistakes are harmless.
