At one point, my personal website was an SPA and used only JS to update its content. Eventually, I stopped doing this, and returned to a proper “multipage” website.

This was in 2003.

SPAs are for applications, not websites.

If you are making an application (a game, an editor...), SPAs are the right call. But a blog shouldn't even require JavaScript.

It made more sense in 2003 than now; then, we didn't know better, connections were much slower, and you were able to get content a bit faster that way.

But we need to try in order to know better.
