We are seeing the writing in the wall.
If some idiot with an AI can make a half-baked app that sort of works in five minutes, most of people will prefer that to a perfectly tailored app that takes three years to make.
We are transitioning from tailor made suits that last forever to industrial made T-shirts that last a year. Or even less.
So many people is trying to reduce their prices by leveraging AI and mixing it with their expertise in order to still be working next year.
We are a dying industry. And users are going to pay for it in quality and reliability. But who cares? Cheap always trumps good.
