Well, garbage in, garbage out.

If you get a mix of good and bad, you will probably get a discerning mind.

If you only get bad, you get even worse than you would not reading at all.

There are too many people sprouting sophisms and lies and thinking they are wise because they read a lot of books, and not one of them telling a truth.
