The last 12 hours have been insane:
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio informed members of Congress that the US intends to purchase Greenland.
NATO announces if Trump invades Greenland, NATO will respond against the US.
France is working with its allies on a plan should the US attempt to seize Greenland.

Food for thought:
- France is the only major NATO partner with no US military bases in their territory.
- Germany, on the other hand, has 40, all in West Germany.
I'm talking of purely US bases; NATO bases are an entirely different thing .
